What are dental crowns?

Dental crowns are special tooth shaped caps that are placed over a tooth to restore its original shape, strength and size. Porcelain fused to metal crowns are designed to match the color of your teeth minimizing the look of a crown. All resin and all ceramic can do the same but don’t feature the same resilience to wear.
